Be interested

We often talk too much. Learn to listen more. Focus on being genuinely interested in others-not just on being interesting. Find out about their lives. Ask questions about what's up in their world, their day, and their families.

Silly me

Yesterday evening I went to help out in e children's 40 DOF small group one of e amk hse.
The house was so beautiful and clean.
Almost everything is white & black, but mostly are white!!
It's really really really beautiful.
I hope that my future house will be like this.
Anyway the session was about You can overcome!
We wrote out our fears on a big piece of paper & pastor Pui Leng told us that we can overcome anything because Jesus is in us.
Well, at night my mother gave me a ginseng chicken which was very tasty.
I ate e chicken & watch e tv at e same time.
Then suddenly I thought I swallow up a bone.
I saw the bone before I eat, but after I ate it, it's gone.
Then I didn't check properly and I start to panick.
I quickly asked my mother to help me.
But no matter what I do nothing come out & I cried & cried.
This time my father came home & asked what happened.
He told me to not be scared just swallow some rice & drink water.
I was too scared to swallow even my own saliva.
We prayed but I kept doubting whether it will work or not.
I was so disappointed at myself for doubting God's power.
I always believe He will help us when we need Him but that time I just find it hard to let go.
In e end, I talked to God a lot, He calmed me down & remind me that with Him I can overcome any fears.
So I slowly let go & in e end I told my father that I think I'm imagining things.
Hahax!!!
Actual fact is that I don't even feel any pain in the beginning just some discomfort.
Maybe it's my imagination that made me thought that there is a bone inside.
Look how silly I am!

The 4th dimension

During my Korea trip, there is this pastor who talks abt e 4th dimensional realm. I was quite confused because I always heard about it a little bit but don't get the full meaning of it. Then I decided to ask Pastor Pui Leng about it when I'm back in Singapore. Before I meet Pastor Pui Leng, SP Lawrence Khong preached about "Living in the 4th dimension"!!! It's clear that when you are hungry for God, He will surely show Himself to you. I was somehow quite desperate to understand it. So after SP preached about it, I began to even wanna know more about the 4th dimension world. I hope to get a book that talks about it & also I have to tap into the spiritual realm to know even more. Thank God for always being there with me!

I'm back from Korea!

I'm back from Korea!! It was a wonderful trip. I get to know more about God & He told me that prayer is a very very important thing. It is the air that we need to breathe for survival. Experience a lot of God's great powerful. Sometimes the small little things that u want from God He will still give it to u. It tells us that He cares abt us. Also prayer shows u wonderful miracles from God. God speak to me there too. He kept showing faces of my extended family. My mother said He wants me to pray for their salvation. By the way, I fasted 7 meals there!! Continuously without having any meals! Praise God! Although I'm tempted all the time to eat, but He protected my stomach! I didn't suffer any gastric pain until the night we break fast. But still He healed my stomach. After that we ate kimchi every single day man! It don't taste nice but it is healthy for our body as it builds up our immune system. So that's way Korean didn't get the SARS when we have it. There is loads of things that include good & bad that happened. It's impossible to write down everything here. One thing that I don't like about is that the Koreans don't say excuse me when they need to pass by us. They just push or pull you aside. It's quite a culture shock for me. I don't think that it is nice to trespass other's personal space w/o telling them. But other than that, they are quite warm and polite.

Be a Friend and SMILE!

"A man who has friends must himself be friendly" - Proverbs 18:24 (KJV). Friendships don't just happen. It's easier to start a friendship when you act friendly. Start out with a smile. Live with a smile on your face. Smile in person, smile over the phone, smile in your texts, and smile in your emails...

Know Who You Are.

The more we know about ourselves, the easier it will be to find the right friends. God made us all unique individuals, with our own personalities, gifts, and talents. We have all had different life experiences and relationships. What is important to you? What interests you? What things have affected your life the most? Even though we are all different, close relationships come from shared interests, experiences, and goals.
