It doesn't matter!

Title: It doesn't matter!
Main verse: 1 Timothy 4:12
Preacher: Pastor Daniel Khong

~What really matters when you are serving God?
1)Not your age, but your CHARACTER.
Age doesn't matter to God.
1 Timothy 1:5
1 Timothy 2:2
1 Timothy 3:2-13
1 Timothy 5:32
1 Timothy 6:11
Our godly character matters.

2)Not your 'smarts', but your HEART.
1 Timothy 4:13
Reading: Public reading of scriptures
Exhortation: Being pursuaded to apply it into action
Doctrine: Instruction from God
If the word of God is internalize in us, God will internalize in us.
1 Timothy 4:1-2
It is about who you are.

Build your friends up

Your friends may need a boost in their self-esteem from time to time, especially if someone has put them down or they have gone through a humiliating situation. Make it your mission to encourage them and communicate to them that they are valuable. Show them all the things that make them special. They may have a sense of humor that won't quit or a compassion for others. Help them to see their strengths and their worth.

Lady of faith

Everybody struggles in their faith. We have doubts in trusting God, but we should always turn to God whenever we have doubts. Let us always trust in Him even if we can't get ourselves to trust in Him. Relying on Him thinking that no matter what He will help us, will slowly let us have faith in Him. I did the quiz and it was under "FAITH FILLED (More than 31 points)" I'm quite proud of myself because every quiz shows that I really trust in God and let Him bring my Mr Right to me.

It says, "You truly mean it when you say you trust God. You belief in His goodness is not just theory. You know He loves you and that His plan really is best for you. You accept the reality that you only see and understand in part, and when you don't understand what's happening, you hold onto the truth that God does (and He has your best in mind). God is pleased with your faith (without faith it is impossible to please Him), and He will reward your faith with an abundance of His presence and the Fruit of His Spirit. When your day comes, you will be ready because you waited in faith."

Still having fun with the children:)

I was almost late for school today but arrived at the exact time. When I reached, Adam from the K2 class came and hugged me and said, "Miss Tan, today you looked very pretty." It's because today it's my first day wearing a skirt to work. HAHA! He is so cute. There was other comments like, "Miss Tan, you are so sexy." and "Miss Tan, why do you wear skirt today?" HAHA! Whenever there is new things, the children will comfirm ask a lot of questions.

I sticked with the K2 class again except during the afternoon with the T class which is the toddlers. This boy from the K2 kept wanting to play toys because he want to play with me. He said, "Miss Tan, I want to challenge you with this(pointing to the chess)." But I have no chance to play with him. When I bathed him, he took particular interest in his hair. He will put a lot soap and wash very slowly and gently, then after that he will comb it very nicely. HAHA! He is so cute! At first, he still called me Miss Winnie!

In the afternoon, I was assigned to look after both the T and N(Nursery class)! It was quite stressful as I don't know much about this age group. I'm worried that if one start to cry, everyone else will start to wake up and by that time I will have difficulty putting them to sleep. But thank God, He sent an auntie to help me. T class is hard to handle as they will wet themselves and I have to bathe them again. I still need to make sure they wear their clothes properly and that I have to almost do everything for them. But they are very very cute! HAHA!

I love all of them from the T class to K2 class, but if I get to choose I will either choose K2 or K1. Because they are very sociable. Not that the T and N class don't talk to me but I just like the K1 and K2 more. The T and N are more of cute and adorable. HAHA! The difficult part of this job is to control the children. I can't control them to be quiet and I don't know how to be fierce with them. Whenever I'm fierce with them, I don't feel like myself. So I just simply love to smile and laugh with them. HAHAHA!!

My beloved K2s

Stick with my beloved K2 class again, I hope I can be with them until they graduate. HEHE~ Well, I'm an English teacher so I am supposed to speak English to the children all the time. But there is a few times I accidentally said Chinese to them then the children was very funny. They said, "I thought you are an English teacher? Why you speak Chinese?" and "How you know how to speak Chinese?" and "How you learn?" HAHA!

Outdoor activity was to run at the stadium and I was so tired after running with them and still have to look after them. Worst case was that I forgot to bring my hair band to tie my hair! But it was fun running with them. HAHA! Coming back from the stadium the children even can tell what auntie Soi is cooking! They said they can smell the spaghetti smell.

During nap time, I managed to make them behave and sleep. The K2s are very fast to fall asleep so it's a good thing because my hands are tired after patting them to sleep. There is this boy who is the smallest in class like people to pat him to sleep. He kept asking me to pat him first, he fall asleep within 5 minutes. HAHA! While patting them to sleep I was praying for God's presence to be with the children all the time, because today 3 children vomit in class. I felt like hugging them after that.

There was lots of punching and argument which happened today. Don't know what happened to them. Have to kept reporting to Zhou lao shi. They are still very adorable and they make my day. Everyday I look forward to play with them and talk to them. Today when I know time is almost up, I started to miss them and don't feel like going back home. HAHA! I really love them a lot and thought of why did I start this job so late and when they are graduating soon.

These few days I learnt a lot of things from the different age group and I find it interesting and I still have lots of things to learn. I still can learn things from the children. Sometimes when I don't know where are the things found and how to do something, they will tell me and let me know. They have so many stuff to talk and so many stuff to ask, any thing can lead to start talking. They are all learning and whatever we said they will learn. So I have to make sure I'm a good role model for them.

Tons of QUESTIONS!!

Stayed with the K2 class again, but until 1530 I went over to the toddler's class. Toddler's class are so small in size. They don't seems to be like Gkidz N3 but they are the same age. Toddler class has nothing much to say. Angel from that class kept calling out to me just for fun. So cute! When I talked to this class children, they will stare at me like I just spoke some alien language. I kept asking them whether they understand but yet they just stare at me. I think they are scared of me.

Toddler class has somethings in common with the K2 class. The children like to touch my hair. The K2 kept touching my hair and asked why my hair is brown. I told them I like then this girl, Gwenda said she want to dye her hair but her parents don't allow her. HAHA! So cute! Then one of the boy kept smelling me and kept touching my hair. He said I smell so nice and my hair is so smooth! HAHA! So cute!! They also kept bringing story books to ask me to read to them. Whenever they bring a chinese book I will say ask Zhou lao shi. It's because I'm scared that I will teach wrong things.

During the outdoor activity, the children like to stand in front of everyone to perform some talent. When this boy show his 'magic', everybody was amazed. They are so cute because that boy simple put his string inside his cap and then he showed it in a 'surprise' way. When we are going back, this 2 boys whom I'm holding them started arguing, but I don't know what they are arguing. At least they are arguing and not shouting at each other. While they are arguing, they are still holding hands. They are so cute because I never seen anybody who are angry with each other yet still have skin contact with each other. They are so adorable!! But I failed to stop them from arguing. I love them a lot and they are the most mature boys in class.

In class, they started to ask about my age again but from a different children. Xuan Hui from the class asked me how old am I. Then when she know her reaction was like, "19? So old? Then next time you will be 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25. Then 100 you will be very old(while showing me an invisicible long beard)." HAHA! I just laugh. During lunch time, this boy asked my age again. His reaction was like this, "19? My brother 14 taller than you erhx. He also taller than my daddy." They like to comment on my age! HAHA!

They asked me whether I can get married or not and of course my answer is yes. Then they asked me whether I have boyfriend which is fine but they ask me whether I have girlfriend. I answered, "I'm a girl so I don't have girlfriend. But I have lots of friends who are girls and boys." Worst thing is that they asked me whether I have a baby or not! HAHA! Before that there is this boy who is so cute. He pressed on my stomach and said he want to listen to my baby! I said I don't have baby how are you going to listen?! HAHA!!

There is too many funny happenings that it's impossible to type all of them out here. I'm just going to store it in my memory. They(K2) are graduating, I wished to buy something for them but I'm not sure whether it is possible and what should I buy. Maybe I should ask the supervisor or Miss Winnie. I extremely enjoyed my day!!:) Thank God so much!!:)

Happy Happy Happy~

Today was another fun day! I was with the K2 until 4.50pm. The K2s were much easier to manage as they are older and also very few of them. When I join them, there is this child who asked me whether am I going to their class, and when he know that I am, he was very happy. HAHA! There is this girl who kept coming to hug me and say, "Miss Tan! I love you!" HAHA! So cute~! Then when I'm bathing all of them, that same girl asked me a question which I don't know how to tell her in a right way. It's kind of a private thing so I'm not going to post here. But in the end I told her in a way that she understand and in a right way. She is so cute to ask me that kind of question. Then there is this guy who took this ring and go around 'proposing to every girl in his class. He is so cute!! HAHA!

I helped out in bathing them, actually not really bathe them just assist them only. After bathing them, they are having afternoon tea break. When I went over to join them, two groups of boys were asking me to sit with them. I joined the one which only have two children. Then one of the boy asked me how old am I. I told them to guess then guess what they say? HAHA! They guessed, "14?" "No". "35?" So funny! Then when I said I'm 19, he said, "19?! You 19 so small?" He was saying about my size. HAHA!

During their nap time, I started to pray for the child whom I tapping him to sleep. I hope I can make it a habit to pray for them every time they sleep. After I make sure everybody is soundly asleep, I went to one corner and rest. Who knows I fell asleep there! HAHA! Even in a sitting position I can sleep. That is so powerful for me. It's not because the job is tiring but last night I didn't turn in early.

At 4.55pm, I went over to the K1 class to help out. Then it was my first time to be scold them. Because they are not well behaved and I have no choice but to scold them. But not as loud as other teachers. It was the same class when 2 of the twins started to fight. I can't manged them so I shout out to the main teacher. Immediately, they are being punished, but one guy came and complained to me that it is his brother's fault. I can't say anything but just let the teacher punish them. I've already told them not to fight but they doesn't want to listen then I have no choice.

One of this boy in the K1 class is very cute. On my first day of work, he is the first one who came to talk to me. He is somehow always having trouble. He is either being bullied or he bully others. But everytime he bully others, they will still get back at him. He is a very soft-spoken child. So everytime I have to really listen to him to understand what he wants to tell me. Then whenever I saw him I will go and sayang him. Then he will always come and find me to talk to me or complain. HAHA!

I am becoming to love children more and more. The moment I saw them I will be so happy. I just can't stop smiling at them. Thank God for His grace and mercy! His love is powerful that it is radiating through me out to the children. I really love them a lot and I don't mind them all coming at me to talk to me. Jesus loves me forever and my love for the children is also the same. Of course, if I understand and have experience God's love I will be able to love children so much. Even Jesus loves children a lot! HAHA!

Miss Tan!

Today was my first day working at a childcare centre and it's also my first day being called miss Tan by the children. In the morning God told me that He has prepared good things for me. He promises a bright future and I was prepared to receive it. I reached the centre at 8.20am which is 20 minutes earlier. I lingered around outside debating to myself whether I should just go in and see about it. In the end, I went in at 8.25am. I was quite disorientated because there is 3 doors and I don't know which one to enter from. Then I don't know the people there so I was kind of blur at the beginning.

First session of my day was to be with the K1s which is with the supervisor. I thought that the supervisor will be like those very arrogant one, but this supervisor is very very kind and sociable. During their assembly, the children from all age group greet me, "Good morning Miss Tan! God bless you, Miss Tan!" Ohh man! They are so cute to the max, but they are very naughty. The teachers there were very firm and that makes them look fierce. But only to the children.

In this K1 class, when I was playing with 3 of them, I tried to talk to them and they are very talkative. HAHA! It was good and they are so cute!! Then this boy called Caleb said to me, "Miss Tan will stay with us?" When I didn't have the chance to answer him, he said,"I think you will stay." So cute right?! HAHA! I was only introduced one time and they know how to call my name. But then when 2 of this boys who was fighting over a toy, which I don't know about it. Then one of the called to me, "Miss..miss..Mrs Tan, he snatched my toys away!" I was shocked that he called me Mrs Tan. HAHA!!

Then in the nursery class, the children kept calling me and they all want to hold my hand. There is this indian girl called Angel kept calling me and smile to me and want me to play with her. HAHA! They are really very cute man! After they took their nap and woke up, I went to the K2 class. They are easier to handle but there is this boy who shout at me which I was shock and don't know what to do. So I just leave it. Anyway, while they were doing their school work, I talked to this boy called Javier. He asked me tomorrow which class will I be in. I told him I will be with the K1. Then he said, "Huh~ I hope you will come to the K2 class." HAHA! I'm so happy that the children likes me.

I think this is the first job that makes me want to go back soon. Indeed, God has promised good things for me. In Numbers 10:29 says that, "The Lord has promised good things." So I'm going to claim it everyday. No matter what problems I have it's for training me to trust in God more. I like this job and it's fun to play with them and talk to them. It's not tiring at all but when I come home, I'm so lazy to do anything else except to eat. HAHA! I'm going to sleep now so that I will have more energy to play with the children tomorrow. Ciaos!:)

Lady of diligence

Today it's about lady of diligence. It's talking about how diligently do God's work with all your free times. Don't waste any of free time on other things or just simple stay at home doing nothing. Well, I think I've been like this for a while. I've been staying home slacking and not serving God. I've did a bad example for my younger sisters. But at least I've found a job now so that I will be able to serve Him diligently without asking any rewards. It's such a joy to serve God everyday of my life by teaching the young children and also interacting with them is so fun!

I did the quiz again, this time is "Are you diligent?" My score put me under "DILIGENT IN SINGLENESS (MORE THAN 31 POINTS)" Its says that, "You are well on your way to true contentment in your singleness and to living a life of diligent service toward God and others. Sure, you still hope to marry some day, but it doesn't consume your thought life. You are not overly idealistic about marriage. You know it comes with both joy and pain-and that no man can make you feel perfectly loved (only Jesus can). You also know you have important things to do right now, just you and God, and you don't want to waste the years God has given you just because you're not married yet. You know that diligently serving God and others now will prepare you to be the best wife and mother you can be, when the time is right. But you cherish the unique opportunities before you as an unattached single teenager. Your diligence makes God proud; if you maintain your focus, you will accomplish a great deal for Him. To get involved in any ministry demands a sacrifice. Have you allowed your self-centeredness to dominate your daily schedule?"

Some updates of David club! Today the children make dog craft so everyone is wearing one. There is this little girl called Karen who kept jumping to hug me very tightly. She is so cute to the max and she is always so smiley! HAHA!

Ohh by the way, tomorrow I'm going for my work! Actually I don't know why I'm not anxious at all. It's just like normal day which I'm going to enjoy. Which is good because the Lord want us to cast all our anxiety to Him. And I believe He will be with me everytime. I'm going to focus it as I'm serving God and not because for the money. I want to learn as much as possible there and hope I can endure it forever and make it my life time career. Wish me all the best and that I can always wake up on time for school!!

If Jesus is Lord, we will live in Holiness

Title: If Jesus is Lord, we will live in Holiness
Main verse: Colossians 1:10
Preacher: Apostle Lawrence Khong

Colossians 3:1-11
Matthew 7:21-23
-3 attitudes that truly says Jesus is Lord:

1) Set your mind on things above.
Colossians 3:1-2
Proverbs 23:7a
" 4:23
Make up your mind for Jesus and invest your time for Him!

2) Put to death your earthy nature(SINS)
Colossians 3:5-8
Put to death all of our sins on the cross.
When you allow the devil to linger around you or kept disturbing you and you don't chase him away, soon he will have the 'right' over your life. But Jesus is the only one who has the complete right over our lives!

3) Put on the new self(Jesus' image)
Everyday we need to invite Jesus into our lives.
Renew our daily lives with Him to receive a fresh anointing from Him.

Lady of reckless abandonment

Well, today I start reading 'Lady in Waiting' written by Jackie Kendall and Debby Jones, which I borrowed from Heidi. Very interesting book that I can study from. It's actually about how and what we ladies should do while waiting for our Mr. Right to come. The first chapter tell us that we should break our Alabaster box in front of Jesus. Which signifies that we honor Him. An alabaster box is a box that you have to break in respond to a guy who ask you for marriage. In the olden days, when they are of a age to get married they own one of the alabaster box.

I did the quiz at the end of the chapter and I am under 'RECKLESSLY ABANDONED (MORE THAN 31 POINTS)'!! It is so wonderful! It says that, "You are well on your way to being recklessly abandoned for Jesus. You value spiritual input and friends who build you up rather than distracting you from God. You enjoy spending time reading the Bible and praying; Jesus is not just a religion, but your best friend. It's not that you're never tempted to pursue other things. But you know that only He can satisfy you, and you have seen Him help you (again and again) to stop seeking fulfillment in people or things." This is so true and I totally agree with it.

Ladies of Christ should all be like Ruth. She said, "Do not urge me to leave you or turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God." to JESUS in Ruth 1:16. I want to serve the Lord forever and ever in my whole entire life!! I want Ruth's attitude!

How to avoid drifting from God

"Remain in me, and I will remain in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me."
(JESUS in John 15:4)

Cravings

These few days I felt like I'm pregnant. Haha! I kept craving for food even though I just ate. A few days back I craved for roti prata. Yesterday I craved for tau suan and ice cream. Today I craved for sambal fried rice with egg, fried prawn noodles and crabs! Now I feel like eating mee sua, pasta, baked rice and drink soup! Ohh man!! Why suddenly I felt like eating so many food?

Even though I craved for all these food, I don't get to eat it but I'm still eating lots of other stuff! I might be skinny and underweight, but I don't think I will want to gain weight. I like my size and I like myself a lot! Well, I suddenly have a craving for sandwiches!! What is happening to my appetite? Maybe I'm really "PREGNANT'!(JFL) My menses haven't even come! HAHA!

Gonna drink up my milo and sleep! Ciaos!

PS: JFL stands for Just for laugh. If it's not funny then don't laugh! >.<

Stand by your friend

Unfortunately, difficult times come to everyone, and we all need a good, strong friend to help us get through them. Maybe a good friend is going through a difficult problem or did something dumb and is now having to pay the consequences. This is a time when your friend needs you the most. Be there to help in any way you can. Your friendship will come out much stronger on the other side.

I'm hired!!

Yesterday night the manager of TOUCH childcare called me but I didn't get to answer her phone call! So she messaged me to call her next morning(which is today) at 0830. How can I not hear my phone ring?! But actually I was at my mother's room while my phone is at my room!! Anyway I called her this morning and she is hiring me! Thank God! I'm trying out, so I'm a temporary staff. If I'm okay with it and the manager thinks that I'm suitable then I will go for an interview to officially become a permanent staff. Haha! I'm so excited about it and also nervous. But the bible tells me to, "Cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7) So I'm going to stay calm and go as God has planned.

She told me all the benefits about being a permanent staff. There is loads of benefits and in addition, I will get an off day on my birthday! So cool right?! Haha! So Monday I'm going to start work. Actually she was like asking if tomorrow can I go or not. But it was like too sudden and I'm not prepared. I should be prepared because I've been slacking for so long. I'm kindly of missing my "pleasure life". Haha! But I shouldn't be wasting my life away! So all glory be to God! I'M HIRED!!! Haha!

Last week, my cell members and leader prayed for open doors for me and God indeed has open a door for me!! Hallelujah!!:)

Prove yourself trustworthy

Strong friendships are based on trust. To prove yourself trustworthy, be very careful to tell the truth and to not break a promise you make to your friends or repeat something they have told you in confidence. If you betray a friend's trust, it is very hard to gain it back again. So even if it seems difficult, it's best to have the integrity and courage to do the right thing to begin with.

What was that?

Yesterday night, I have a nightmare? The whole background is black then the word "LUCIFER" in white was so big in front of me. Then I just shout "HOLY SPIRIT!" and woke up. When I woke up, I was sweating cold sweat. (It's that called cold sweat?) Anyway I wonder why I have such weird dream. Is that God reminding me to constantly connect with the Holy Spirit? I know I have to stay connected. But it's that God reminding me about that or other stuff? Or is it that at that moment I was going to be attack by the Satan? Maybe he is trying to kill me? Then the Holy Spirit came to save me. Lord, please tell me.

Be a Loyal Friend

Strong friendships entail loyalty. It can be tempting to value a friendship based solely on how well your friend "performs." Good friendships are worth fighting for. You must be willing to make the personal sacrifice or investment needed to strengthen the relationship. Loyalty is proven over time - as you stick with your friends, even when you're tempted to pull away!

Helping out

These 2 days I have been helping out at my mother's store. She just started to sell children's clothes at Heartland mall. While helping her, I'm patiently waiting for the TOUCH childcare to call me. Hope they can call as soon as possible. Even when I'm helping my mother I am feeling sleepy. Business is not very good, but at least today is better than yesterday. Thank God! Working at a shopping mall is not good! Because I'm tempted to buy loads of clothes. There is this Banana shop, their stuff are all from Japan, is having sales! The clothes are very beautiful and cheap. I really wanna buy a few but don't have the money to buy. I pray that mummy's business will prosper in the few days time. Lord, please help her. Thank You!:)

Be a Corinthians Friend

Here is a great description of the best kind of friendship, adapted from 1 Corinthians 13:4-7: "A friend does not envy, does not boast, and is not proud. A friend is not rude, is not self-seeking, is not easily angered, and keeps no record of wrongs. A friend does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. A friend protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres."

Carnal Decision

I think this post will be a v. long post because I got loads of things to say about carnal decision. It's about my own experience and my personal opinion. First I'm going to explain what is carnal decision. Carnal is not spiritual, it is about the flesh/physical. The exact explanation is this: not spiritual; merely human; temporal; worldly: a man of secular, rather carnal, leanings.

At 2009, I was enrolled into nursing school at NYP. I was quite sure that it was from God that He wanted me to be in this career path. I was contented with my friends and everything except ATTACHMENT!! For some reason, which I find it hard to explain here, makes me hate attachment to the max. In addition, I don't really like nursing. I like what I learned as in the education is v. useful for me but I just can't handle the stress during attachment. People might say every job has their own stress. Yes! I agree but I really can't handle nursing's stress. It's about human life! I must go to work always with a alert mind. Plus nurses have to think fast and act fast.

I know I'm somehow giving excuses. Because I'm supposed to believe in God that He will always guide me through the way. No matter what, He place me there because of a reason, so I should have persevere on. God led me to many encouraging words that time when I was struggling with my course. But I was too stubborn, kept insisting on my way. I was trying my best but on that day when I've decided to quit (also the day I cried like somebody just died), I actually felt a sense of relieved. I was somehow happy about it, but that was a CARNAL DECISION! I did talked to God but I still insist on my way.

God punishes me. I applied for a seat in SEED institute for my diploma in early childhood education, but they rejected me saying they were unable to process my application. I was sad because it was a v. good opportunity and there was a government spur of 90%. I was quite lost that time when suddenly there is nothing I can do in my life. But who knows, I met aunty Winnie, and she told me that actually I can just apply at TOUCH childcare for a job. So I tried.

Last week sermon was about making carnal decision. Our decision determines our future. Our decisions carries consequences. Whenever we are stuck at making decision, don't look at how big the problem is look at how big God is. I guess this is also God trying to tell me something. I have asked God to take away my indecisive spirit. I thought why so long and God hasn't answer me. But God had already answered me. He want me to always depend on Him and to know that whatever I choose that leads to the circumstances. No matter good or bad, He will be there for me to help me through. I think it's quite difficult for others to understand but I today I'm being assured that God is a God of second chance. He is my EVERYTHING!

Today when I went for cell, we were all sharing about how carnal decision affect us and everything. Then Pastor Pui Leng suddenly said she felt a need to pray for me. When they prayed for me, I cried so hard that I was catching my breath. I was trying to hold back my tears but I can't. The tears just came down like rain. I was happy and touched that after much struggling on my own, somebody said to pray for me. Nobody ever know that actually I'm quietly struggling. But today I'm set free from all those guilt and burden that I once felt. I'm going to live my life fulfilling in God's plan! I'm going to try my best to hang to all my struggles and believe that God is always with me.

How can we avoid making carnal decision?:
1) Walk by Faith and Not by Sight.
2) Focus on the Spiritual more than the Physical.
3) Think long-term and not short-term.

Have a great day!

Yesterday I went to East Coast Park with Pam, Lina and Priya. We did loads of funny stuff. I felt so unglam in some of the pics. But who cares? As long as I'm having fun, it doesn't matter. HEHE~ Just by looking at the pictures and you can know how much fun we have. I kept on laughing to myself when I saw those photos. HAHA! Although it's a small meet up to chill and relax. It's fun! Too bad Heidi is sick so she can't join us. Please get well soon, Heidi! After our cycling, we went to Yishun to have our dinner. I ate crayfish the first time! HAHA! It was a fulfilling day and I love it!

Ohh yah! TOUCH child care centre has already contacted me! I'm so happy that they are keen to explore employment with me. HAHA! I'm going to do my best during the interview. Hope they will hire me as soon as possible. I can't wait to work with children!

I watched the 'Mischievous Kiss' episode 8 to 10 today. During one part of the drama, they went to watch this Korean movie at the cinema. Then the movie was about this guy who want to propose to her girlfriend. When he showed his ring, I was like '!!!!!!' Because the ring is being placed inside two shells covering each other with sands to hold it well!! It's so romantic and cool! Both my sister and I was like ohh my gosh! It's so so so so so so so ROMANTIC!!! HAHA! Ohh man, this show is so romantic and sweet.

Ok, I'm going off for cell group soon. Might update again. Ciaos!:)

Be Careful of Perfection

If you're looking for a perfect friend, remember God did not make us perfect. Expecting a friend to live up to perfection can lead to disappointment. If your friends fail, forgive them and encourage them. When possible, look beyond the disappointment and keep your eye on the goal of enjoying your friendship. When you care more about the person than the offense, overlooking little things works.
