~Who is this God with us?
1) He is the one who can calm the storm.
*verse 39
John 16:33
In this world you will have trouble!
2) He is the one who will see you to the other side.
Jeremiah 29:11
*verse 35
"The road to success is dotted with many parking places."
Deuteronomy 31:6
He is on the boat with you/us/me.
3) He is the one who is unstirred by the storm.
We are on the winning team because God is in our team.
*verse 41
Jesus is sleeping on a cushion through the storm.
He is trying to get comfortable and purposefully sleeping.
verse 40:
"Why are you so afraid?"
"Do you still have no faith?"
When we response in faith, we will say "since our God is with us..."
