Pray for your friends

Praying for your friends is the very best thing you can do for them. When you pray for them, you are making an investment in their lives. It shows that you trust God to watch over them and bless them. We face many temptations in our world today, so it would be great to ask God to help your friends resist temptation and stay pure in their thoughts, words, and actions.

Contract

I finally signed the contract with TOUCH as an assistant teacher! YEAH! Daddy fetched me to TCT and fro centre by his friend's motorcycle. The journey was very cold and I thought I would catch a cold and surely I did, but it's a mild cold. I reached centre at 1030 which is quite late. Wrapped and sticked loads of charts. Having backache. Tomorrow have to organise the charts. The day after tomorrow have to sort out the library. LORD, please give me Your strength to complete the work by friday 1430, I don't want to stay in centre until 2000. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen!:)

K2 last day in school

Early in the morning I bused down to Bukit Timah to sign contract, but the door to the 2nd floor was locked. I waited for a while and message Winnie for help. She asked me to call Stefanie the hq personnel. I couldn't get through and she asked me to call the receptionist. After many attempts, nobody answer any of my call. I was quite disappointed. In the end, Winnie said that they might be closed because of Christmas last sat and asked me to cab back to centre.

When I reached there, I was a bit disorientated. I can't settle down quickly and was very cold. But after awhile I'm starting to warm up with the K1 children. As usual the children was very happy to see me. HEHE~ It's different today, I felt that I didn't really do anything and I don't like it. I want to play with the children and talk to them about everything under the sun. HAHA!

Tomorrow till thursday is their school holiday. The K2s are not going to come back anymore and I missed them so much. Today when the children was at the music room. Caleb came and hugged me and gave me a surprise kiss on my cheek! In fact, in the morning he already hugged me lots of time already. He is so cute! HAHA! Love him to the max. Ok got to go! Ciaos!:)

Angels

Today went to work and was assigned to the Math corner over at K2 class. It was fun even though it is very tiring. When we came to the last shelf, Zhang lao shi was about to sweep the floor, I happened to look inside and I saw a LIVE COCKROACH!! My immediate reaction was to scream and run. Zhang lao shi don't know what is going on also scream and run with me! HAHA! The whole incident was so funny that we kept laughing and laughing. Ms Low happened to be at K1 and she saw it and was laughing very happily too. HAHA!

After work, I went back home to rest for 2 hours. When the time was up, we went over to Angela's house and celebrated Christmas. I love the gathering that we had; it was very fun. I love the presents that I received especially the 2 presents with the angel. One from Kimmy and the other one from someone in my cell group. It is a very beautiful gift. God is reminding me that I have 2 angels guarding me. He is protecting me.

The most precious gift that I received is the present from Jesus. He gave His life for me. That is a priceless gift! I love You Jesus!:)

Joy of Christmas

The special needs children may seems to be giving us work to do but I found out that they are actually very very very smart children. They just don't know how to express their thoughts and everything. Today Josh said my name and I was very happy because he never called me before.

Whole of the morning I was with the K2 until they went to sleep. When they are playing at the playground, they are very happily laughing and it makes me very happy seeing them enjoying so much. It's a sad case when some children can't even have the luxury to have fun.

Bathing the K2 was very easy because there is only 10 of them! 3 times fewer than the K1. HAHA! When I was done bathing with the children, I was so relax. Then suddenly Joshua said, "Zhou lao shi, we haven't bathe yet(In chinese)." I think he saw me outside and might have know that I have finished with the bath. Both Joshua and Zitane haven't bathe yet! HAHA! His reaction is so funny. Then they kept asking me why I didn't bathe them. HAHA! Children sometimes really sound like mothers, kept asking the same thing.

During their nap time, we teachers were celebrating Christmas and birthday of Miss Winnie, Mrs Lim and Zhou lao shi. I really enjoying my time there, it's like a big family. We exchanged christmas presents and there was lots of laughter. I was very happy for the whole day. Thank God for the wonderful time we have.

When they are supposed to wake up, Joshua and Christopher were very smart. They know that I'm joining the K1 in the afternoon, then they kept asking me to go their class. Joshua still please me and blocked my way. Then I said, "If not I cut myself into half, then half go K1 half go K2. How? HAHA!" They are a bunch of cute children.

The moment I joined K1, I need to start raising my voice. They are making me so frustrated by fighting at the door. It's because the space is too squezzy for all of them and they will get angry when somebody accidentally push them. One group here fight, settled, next group start, settled, another group start, settled, the previous group continue. Making me headache man. But I still enjoy playing with them.

From the bottom of my heart: I sincerely thank God that He has given me such a heart and character to be able to communicate with the children and even play dolly corner with them! HAHA! I'm really thankful that I'm so happy with the children. I always laugh with them and also laughing at what they said and what they do. Every moment of my time there was spent laughing. Even after I scold them I still laugh because they are too cute for me to be angry with them. Thus, they don't listen to me when I scold them. I have to be more firm, I have to learn from Miss Winnie.

God's love

I was assigned to T class for the whole day! They are so cute and I want to kiss everyone of them. One thing that is good about them is that I don't need to raise my voice when I'm talking to them. If I'm at the K1 class, when I shout it is covered by their voices. Can you imagine how noisy they are? But I love both classes.

Clarice from T class who is Claire's younger sister beat and kicked me! She is so violent! I was at first scared of her but I can't let her control me so I told Huang lao shi. Luckily she is so small size, if not I will be beaten badly. Claire is much better than her. But in some ways she is very cute.

There is this girl called Joy Foo from N class, she is indeed her name. She is always laughing and she always hug me when she saw me. Such a adorable girl! HAHA!

Today the K1 and K2 said goodbye to me until got scolded by Zhou lao shi. They are so poor thing, because they are not supposed to make noise and stand up. Guess next time have to be very secretive when I'm passing by. HAHA!

These few days really can feel God's love surrounding me. Thank God! I love You Jesus!:)

Lady of security

I read the chapter about "Lady of Security" and did the quiz too. Being a lady of security means that we don't jump onto any guys that we think is suitable for us. We have to wait for God's clear instruction whether is this guy suitable for us. If it's not then we have to let it go immediately and continue to be friend with him. What girls really have to do is to just wait. Some might think that it is so old-fashion to wait for guys, why not make the first move? But you are wrong if you think that way because it is a natural thing for guys to make the first move. No point believing in the lie that we girls should make the first move. In the end, the one who gets hurt is you. So wait for God's time. You can't find security in a MAN! They can't give you perfect security, only GOD can and he will. Only God can give us true love which can't break our heart.

As usual I'm under the more than 31 points, "SECURELY GROUNDED":
You are a rare teen because you have found the secret to placing your trust and need for security fully in Christ. In your life, He looms larger than any earthly lover ever could. You have learned to value His affection for you more, which means you are content to wait for a husband. You know your security is not dependent upon any man--and that no man, no matter how wonderful, can provide you with true security and safety. You recognize that no man can commit to the degree that Jesus has committed Himself to you, and you are so thankful. You are being prepared to be an awesome friend (and perhaps wife and mother) because you are able to relate to people with true love and a generous spirit, rather than demanding security and affirmation from them. You love reading the promises in God's Word and spending time in His presence. This is the best choice you could ever make, and you can be confident that you will be securely grounded no matter what trials or temptations life may bring. Jesus has become your rock.

Forgive Often

In Matthew 18, Peter asked Jesus, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus' answer was, "...not seven times, but seventy times." The point Jesus was making is not that we are to keep track of how many times we forgive, but that we are to lose count along the way and not stop forgiving. Sometimes it's hard to forgive, but it's best. Holding grudges is a no win.
